SEWA

SEWA Strand 3

As per the transactional strategies, guidelines and methodologies on ‘Mainstreaming Health and Physical Education’ of CBSE’s Social Empowerment through Work Education and Action (SEWA) the school reserves one period every day for Health and Physical Education for class IX to X.

SEWA aims to develop a whole person in their intellectual, personal, social, emotional and social growth. Learners engaged in this program are expected to be life-long learners and through experiential learning develop as active citizens and caring and compassionate humans.

SEWA takes learning beyond the walls of the classroom and sometimes even beyond the boundaries of the school, building bridges with the authentic and real world in meaningful and positive ways.

The students of Classes IX and X took to the project of Kitchen Gardening. The collective choice of activity was by the students but under the guidance and facilitation of their respective class teachers. It was ensured that all students participated in the project.
